Tunes and much more funk- what makes you dance?

Hey guys whats up yes I know I'm way overdue in blogging -please forgive me wont happen again but hey that's what happens when you have alot going on in the scene and hearing so many things to write on- so what makes you dance I started recording my first show the other day-obviously it went well but i want you listeners and readers to view and hear it and tell me what you think. Be nice its my first time recording my first show- kinda excited...got alot of support. Doing things like this the first time is always a good way to learn and get better at it!

Gosh I realized reading and scanning my blog- I write on so many UK artist but hey what you expect thats all i been hearing lately- let me know if you know any hot urban or upcoming artist working on things!
So lets get right to it shall we :)

I ran into a old friend named Bosh who used to be part of a group called Xplosiv Family- but now has formed a group called B-line

B-line consists of three guys all Ansar DJ-U-sta and Bosh. Ansar is the brains behind the image, styling and concept behind the group. Ansar is a successful entrepreneur and has successful business portfolio. He has been in the Music business for over 7 years and specialises in marketing and promotion. DJ U-sta has been part of the Hip-Hop and R&B scene for over 15 years . He has met and interviewed heavyweights such as Destiny’s Child, Joe, Beverley Knight, Damage, Roots Manuva and Mark Morrison to name a few. He has also DJ’d at some of the biggest venues and nights in the country from London’s Cafe De Paris and Alexandra Palace through to Edinburgh at the annual festival. The third member Bosh is a vocalist of the highest calibre having provided his vocals on Xplosiv Family tracks. Bosh‘s voice has been described in the same vein as some of the classic soul voices of the past decade including Boyz to Men, Brian McKnight and Joe. Bosh has been writing his own songs since he was in school and has honed his skills and has written or co written all the tracks for the upcoming B-Line album. The songs are deeper and more meaningful than many of the manufactured, shallow tracks often associated with many current artists and you can’t help but be impressed with the quality. A producer too in his own right Bosh has developed his style and sound and once again has either produced or co produced the whole of the upcoming album.
The B-Line sound is certainly eclectic with the boys drawing on their upbringing as young British Bangladeshi’s growing up in one of the most deprived town’s in the UK. The sound though is not just doom and gloom and includes uplifting tracks full of hope and promise for the future. Not scared to tackle deep issues themes on the album range from the horrors of modern war on ‘Zindegi’ through the unbridled happiness of falling in love! A group which can’t be pigeon holed, the B-line sound certainly is unique drawing on a variety of influences which seamlessly blends lyrics in English with Urdu and Arabic. For proof just check out the club anthem ‘Crazy No More’ which has got Manchester locked down and is smashing the airwaves with support from Galaxy 102 and Dance industry heavy weight DJ and Promoter Kriss Knight. Although the boys are starting again from the baseline, this is just the beginning. The album is pencilled in to drop summer 2009 with singles preceding this.

So for all you "Kashif" Fans- which I always run into ....well check this. The foundation called www.onevoicefoundation.com is raising so much money lately that "The Bilz and Kashif" decided to team up with DesiWear and print Tshirts on the cause.. Isn't that cute!! ???

As the world continues to be plagued with poverty, inhumanity and other acts of injustice, the need to build awareness and compassion is increasing. Desi Wear (www.desiwear.com) announced today that it has partnered up with The Bilz & Kashif on the One Voice Foundation (www.onevoicefoundation.com) charity campaign, as their official clothing sponsor.
The Bilz & Kashif have created a song through which they hope to communicate a message of unity and ignite within their audiences, the desire to make a change in the world. This is a natural partnership for Desi Wear, as this charitable campaign is designed to raise awareness of world issues that impact everyone.
“Desi Wear is proud to be working with The Bilz & Kashif on the One Voice Foundation. Although this will not eradicate the world’s problems and issues, we can help raise awareness and reaching out little by little; we can all do our part in making the world a better place. The apparel is designed to be trendy and fashionable and at the same time, make a statement of where we stand,” says Manny Brar, founder of Desi Wear.
Desi Wear and The Bilz & Kashif have collaborated on designing and launching the One Voice Foundation apparel that will be available at: www.onevoicefoundation.com, www.desiwear.com and the Desi Wear Retail Boutique in Oakville, Ontario.
The apparel will have positive messages and slogans for the One Voice Campaign, including Desi Peace and One Voice…Make the Difference! Desi Wear is the exclusive supplier and manufacturer of the apparel and this is reflective of its commitment to the growth and success of this campaign. Desi Wear’s parent company, Entripy Custom Clothing (www.entripy.com) will be housing the apparel within its over 16,000 square foot state‐of‐the‐art facility.
The One Voice Foundation will be donating 100% of the proceeds to charity. “It’s great to be expanding our movement with a clothing line that has already established its grounds in the community. We remember rocking the first T‐shirts by Desi Wear and now it’s a global phenomenon. Having us launch exclusive apparel with Desi Wear for the One Voice Campaign in collaboration with Warchild, is just a great feeling because we can now expand our message of peace and unity not only with our music, but also as a statement in fashion. Loose the ignorance and stand up!” says The Bilz & Kashif.
