Ash King- Currently a regular on urban and indian radio stations with club favorites 'Sexy Girl', 'Take it easy' and 'Love is Blind'. Ash King breaks new ground for the Indian music community collaborating with such luminaries as R Kelly (US), rapper Flawless (UK) and Lebanese crooner Ramzi Sleiman.Ash King grew up in Edmonton, North London in a house with no television,"We only had a radio, So I'd listen to pop music most of the time or tapes that my dad would play of great folk music from all over India". The rest of the time he'd be singing at home and living in his fantastical, highly active imagination that would allow a young Ash King to dream, "In my house there were two prominent factors, Food and Music". His dad, an Indian music composer of Bengali origin and mother of Gujrati descent were always visited by India's greatest and most respected musicians, singers and composers. This naturally rubbed off on the young Ash King and meant that since the time Ash could talk he can remember singing but this was not to be Ash's musical direction for years, instead Ash King took to the Dholki and began to play so well that he'd accompany various accomplished traditional Indian artists including his father at musical events across the UK.
