I ran in to this DJ out in Mumbai named DJ Amit pretty well known, Amit began his career after completing a full fledged course of DJing and an advance level of Turntablism...he has been into this profession since 2003. and has almost mastered it. Next up someone i ran into this week is a guy named Strikey- being heard of all over the UK with his new release of his new single performing at 8 years old performing in front of thousands of people singing at religious festivals around the country, from which he then began to play instruments such as the Tabla, Harmonium, and the Keyboard. As he grew older he began to play the Violin, and Harmonica which were short lived due to his interest in music changing. He then found a passion for intelligently combining words to rhyme with the help from the Underground music scene. Soon after he discovered his talent he joined a group (FMK) which lead him into performing on radio on a regular basis, performing live at clubs (in the UK and abroad), and street battling. As time went on he grew independent and followed his passion for music on a more unique, sophisticated mature level which has lead him to where he is now. Being able to perform alongside artists such as Chamillionaire, performing in Portugal alongside there biggest artist Boss A.C, performing in Canada, Greece and all around the UK are just some of the many achievements this young artist has accomplished. At the age of 22 strikey is currently performing around on the release of his completed debut album ‘The Wait is Over’ which highlights the life and times of himself, showing various style beats with mixed elements of belief. Along with that release his first single off the album ‘I Remember’ is also available which will give the listener and idea of the life Strikey used to live while on his journey to where he is now, which is also well illustrated in the music video to accompany the single.

Whats good guys its friday and approaching alot of hot tunes , kinda chilly around the states but all good! House parties, club parties, family parties, a dj is a must ! I was so happy that Slumdog won 4 golden globes that now Slumdog is up for 10 !!! yes 10 Nominations wow!!! 2 of which our god composer "Mr A.R Rahman" who composed the whole movies tracks! Probably have seen the movie almost 4 times and never get tired of it. Also as many of you know I also wrote about "Ash king" who is UK'S Rnb Singer who has singed in this upcoming movie"Delhi 6" coming out worldwide Feb 20,2009 make sure you all see it!

Another artist who's making buzz on the streets is "Code Red" -On Xmas Day north America's rising star Code Red took over a uk station where he called the world renoun dj sanj "a phoney" stating with hard facts that the guy can't produce, and has to turn to other producers to "ghost produce for him" - an later went on to say how he was also part of sanj's Scam as he produced several big hit anthems which got sanj to where he is today - thinking that he would be created yet the world failed to recognise the real man behind the tracks. As shocking as this was - this caused alot of heat in the industry, but it was about time "phonies" in the industry where named and shamed!! - Leave producing to the real guys! However alot of people didn't believe that Code Red produced hit anthems such as Soneh Lenghe Waliye (Lil Sach), Tenu Boulndee (Surinder Shinda), Aashiq Tera (Lehmeber), AWM Boliyan - but the latest promo release from his upcoming album The Code of The Streets entitled Pegg shows that Code Red is ready to take the industry by storm and take the crown from sanj's head! This last artist that i came across today , is someone by the name"Tariq Khan" a little bit of masti and a little bit of spice from this guy. He is introduced as one of the most dynamic singers in the Britsh Asian Music Industry halling from Manchester, UK this hot punjabi pop singer recorded is debut album at a very tender age while studying for his engineering diploma. So I realized that many of my friends never listen to music or have a radio in their car....kinda old fashion if you tell me! Music is suppose to make you get away from your troubles. Another upcoming Artist out in the UK, I feel like London is always taken over but find out tomorrow as I let you guys know about some Bollywoood Urban Artist hmm out in our homeland India!!! His name is Maximus" hes from London and he's sat down and told me that
“I’m a fan of music, before I’m a fan of rap” says 22-year-old rapper, producer and DJ, Maximus. Surrounded by a vast blend of music since childhood, Maximus started out with a passion for R&B before being introduced to hip-hop. He quickly became engrossed in the sounds of Redman, Jay-Z, DMX, Big-L, Will Smith and the Wu Tang Clan. Perhaps this mixture is the reason for his versatile and lyrically entertaining style. ”I started off just messing around free styling and recorded a song here and there on my humble home recording set up”. That soon changed whilst in New York in his teens, when his family was contemplating a move to the US. Surrounded by people who shared the same interest in a city where hip-hop is everywhere, Maximus was introduced to MC battles and ciphers. He began battling and freestyling and was heard by a local DJ who asked him to record some material for a mixtape. Maximus went on to record some freestyles and even had his original songs featured. “I was amazed that I went from just entertaining myself with rap, to actually having it showcased.
