Another artist we have out in the UK that many of us have not really heard is Pav Purewal who's known to be great working along side with many few good names in the Punjab Music Scene. When I first was approached by a friend about this artist, i thought why not hear his stuff and see what punjabi folk music sounded like?! It blew me away! I loved it!

Pav has told me that "My production on my first album and my new album has been done by my good friend Aman Hayer. Aman Paji has taken his production level up a bar on every album he has worked on and his talent proceeds him. Aman Paji is doing amazing things and has given me great direction and influence in my new coming album. " Check out his tracks on his myspace, I found them really great!!!

When I asked Pav about his upcoming album he told me that....

"My new album is called ‘Rolling Like a Rockstar’ which I am releasing very soon. The reason in my title is because of all the great experiences I have had with my Ustad Jazzy Paji. I hope there is something for everyone on my new album."

UPLOAD THE IPOD WITH MORE TRACKS!

Hey Readers,

Miss Roshni
Whats good Guys!?

Having a bad day but all good, music always cheers me up . That's what happens when you have a horrible day,and people you care about the most start to say things and never understand you. Although music sometimes are expressed in those ways. We all listen to music, we all enjoy it. But do we really know how one artist starts to write these tunes that are playing to our ears?! I don't think so, well it all starts out how artist get inspired by something or someone, they have a topic or think of something randomly and just start writing. Some artist even free-lance write...writing whatever comes to their mind.

But obviously that's not what my blog is about tonite, its Friday Night and the streets are fulled with parties, house parties, Greek Parties, College parties.. Its Christmas, Djs are playing at the Christmas parties, business party's' and more!Which means Dj's are bouncing in the club with tunes and people are boucning to the floor and touchin da ground!!

I have one crazy DJ who has been known to do that, I have known him for years, and truly admire his taste in his music. Infact as I'm writing this Blog I'm hearing his Track. JC from Sona Family JC is one of the best DJs to mash up Hiphop, RnB, UKG, Drum & Bass and bhangra all in one set and keep the party bumping. Constantly keeping those shook DJs peering over his shoulder to peep his hot exclusives, JC is the backbone of Sona Family's live experience. Born and raised in Southampton, JC got into DJing through an older cousin who used to teach breakdancing and popping at the local youth centre . Now that is just cute and awesome!

It wasn't until 2001 when JC hollered at Harry and his crew (which consisted of Usmaan and Krazy King Shucks), to record some freestyles for his new mixtape that the first version of Sona Family, the Sona Kaadaan, emerged. It was on this mixtape that the now infamous" Hai Kuthi" was first heard. This then led to the SONA KAADAAN mixtape which included the legendary "Oi" remix, and the rest as they say, is history. JC's influences range from Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, Too Short, Eric B, EPMD to Punjabi folk music such as Yamala Jatt, Surinder Shinda, Manak, and Mohammad Sadiq. The integration of these Hiphop and desi influences have moulded him into the top DJ that he is, able to serve a diverse crowed. These days you will find JC rocking shows with Sona Family as well DJing at clubs up and down the country such as Bombay Bronx (where he is a resident), Shaanti, FunkShaan, Friction and internationally in India, Dubai, Europe and the USA.

Well For all you guys who love tunes... Check out JCS MERRY CHRISTMAS REMIX TRACK THAT i am so listening to over and over on my IPOD . You want that gift then you have to add him on his face book group http://www.new.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=mb#/group.php?gid=9109106706group.php?gid=9109106706

Join this group and you will get a free Christmas Remix Track.. I started hearing this song and I thought it was really Hot....the beginning of this track makes you want to start dancing in your room on your bed ...okay well maybe not your bed...but maybe with your loved one....:) So Join the Group guys and get your Christmas Gift From JC-HO HO HO!!http://www.myspace.com/jcsonafam

Haha so before i come across another artist i know this is way off topic and some of you might enjoy this Youtube Video that my girl Pooja out in New York got me across by many of you probably already seen this...Justin Timberlake and two guys and Beyonce doing a video shoot for "Single Ladies" Check it below !!!

Another Artist that has not yet been heard of alot out in North America is someone named Nizam hes out in Canada...whats up with Canada..they are taken over with the artist and the UrbanScene...hmmmm?! Does UK, USA, AND Canada have competition. I don't think so , hey its music, and music to my ears is fun, not competition. If music was a competition then it would be war and i know no one likes that word!!:)

Nizam Yar Khan aka Nizam or The Nizam as he is widely known, is a hip hop MC from Toronto, Canada. His style is a raw and elemental form of hip hop often found missing in today's mainstream arena of music. His passion for music began at an early age, where he was exposed to genres ranging from soul, hip hop, jazz all the way to drum and bass, hindi, and bhangra. As an artist Nizam paints the pictures of expression, reflection and captures the magnitude of hip hop culture and the sentiment of the Asian Diaspora from Toronto to London and all over the world. Some of his influences include Gangstarr, Rakim, The Wu Tang Clan, and Pete Rock to name a few. His works with the Basment Theory crew and other affiliates has allowed him to deliver that real and distinct hip hop sound. He is currently working on his mixtape album and is set to bless the masses with passion and perspective music for 2008!!

Another Buzzing Story creating talks on the streets is that many of you guys know that Jay Sean is out In Miami Recording for his upcoming cd hmmm.....well what you guys dont know is that their are some surprises coming your way,Yes...His WaY!!? I know i hate the temptation of waiting around, as we all love surprises.. and 2009 is approaching, Fans and Lovers of Jay Sean, watch out for 2009's Greatest Tunes By Jay Sean:)Till then signing off Miss Roshni~
